Our aim
The aim of Kompetenzzentrum Gartenbau (KoGa) is to secure and enhance the effectivness and competitivness in research and teaching in horticultural sciences and provide new technologies for horticulture.
KoGa acts as a virtual platform for interdisciplinary projects and provides the ressources of its partners for horticultural research.
Further tasks and aims are
- identification of current horticultural problems and constituion of working groups for joint projects
- acquisition of funds for joint projects
- development of new products and technologies
- teaching and lecturing function
- support MSc and PhD students with interdisciplinary research and project groups
- support PR of current horticultural research projects
- rapid knowledge and technology transfer
